Acupuncture
Initial Appointment
80-90 minutes
This appointment will be your first appointment. I will ask you questions about your main complaint, as well as what’s known as “the ten thousand questions” to find out more of what’s going on in your body. After the intake, the treatment will begin and consist of acupuncture, treatment modalities if they are appropriate (gua sha, cupping, moxa, tui na, etc.), herbal medicine and/or supplement recommendations, and lifestyle suggestions (including possible food therapy suggestions).
Follow-up Appointment
50-60 minutes
This is for patients who have already been seen and had their initial appointment.
NADA Protocol
20-25 minutes
The NADA Protocol consists of five needles placed gently in the ear. They are ideal for those who struggle with relaxation, sleep, pain, behavioral health challenges, digestion issues, and so much more. It can also aid in addiction recovery, and can help reduce trauma experienced after natural disasters. Patients receiving these treatments sit comfortably in a chair and only have needles placed in one or both ears.
No Needle Appointment
20-30 minutes
This treatment consists of only treatment modalities (gua sha, cupping, moxa, tui na, etc.). This is a great option for those who do not want needles, or who are a little short on time and just want body work.
Anti-Aging Acupuncture
MicroNeedling
30-50 minutes
This involves the insertion of very fine, short needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. The pen used created a small wound and the skin will respond with collagen and elastin production and new skin cells, which makes the skin tighter and smoother. Depending on the depth of the needle penetration, this can offer skin rejuvenation levels from the simple enhancement of product absorption to the clinical treatment of scars and wrinkles. This option is great for those concerned with deep wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, or deep acne scars. Microneedling is only performed once a month (Nanoneedling is great for in between those 4 weeks).
AcuGlow
20-50 minutes
AcuGlow treatments are great options as stand alone, or combined with Microneedling or Nanoneedling. The treatments are performed using gum sha and cups that are specific for the face. These treatments move lymph and stagnation, tone and lift the face, enhance the health of the skin, and minimize the signs of aging. When performed regularly, they release toxins from the skin, hydrate the skin, reduced enlarged pores, increase oxygen-rich blood flow (which gives that glow), strengthen the cells responsible for collagen production, release muscle tension, increase product absorption, reduces puffiness, minimizes wrinkles and fine lines, and regulates oil production.
NanoNeedling
30-50 minutes
Like Microneedling, but uses silicone rather than needles. These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis (top layer of the skin) to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. These benefits include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation, and an immediate glow with no downtime. It is also great for fine line and wrinkles, swelling, and sagging skin. This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin. This option is great for those with sensitive skin, are 75 years of age or above, and in between Microneedling sessions.
Light Therapy
20 minutes
This improves the health of our skin. Studies show it increases collagen production of the skin thus improving elasticity, increases circulation between blood and tissue cells, protects cells from damage, helps stimulate the cells, improves facial texture, reduces fine lines, and reduces wrinkle severity.
